Project by Arturo Sayan

ALIENATION was inspired by Tennessee Williams’ play CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF. The project consists of two intertwined segments. One is experimental film with elements of theater and the other experimental theater with film elements. The Leitmotif is estrangement and isolation in relationships. Protagonists perceive reality differently, and are caught in labyrinths of both their own, individual isolation and the one that develops in interpersonal relations.

Arturo Sayan, graduate of Muthesius Art Academy and Yerevan Art Academy, and multi-award-winning director and actor presented his project for the first time in 2021.
